You've Got Mail

Your mouse SHOULD only have one ball. Another Meg Ryan movie, which should sum it up for anyone who has seen any of her romantic comedies. In this remake of a old movie, she plays a bookstore owner battling a big-bully corporate bookchain moving into her territory. At the same time, she is having an online romance with a stranger, who turns out to be someone a lot closer than she had expected...

Shaun Myburg: So, it's Valentine's weekend, I'm single again and there's a new Meg Ryan movie out. It's asking for trouble I know, but who can resist watching another pairing of Meg and Tom? While most might consider this a date movie, it is a perfectly good choice for those who aren't in the mood for explosions, vampires and sex. This remake is a movie that is sure to give birth to a string of internet related movies, but if they have such good actors in, I don't mind so much. You've Got Mail has a great blend of humour and all that other mushy stuff to make you leave the cinema feeling good. As I always say... go see it and enjoy!

Graeme Smith: It is was way better than 'Sleepless in Seattle'. Hanks and Ryan was perfect in their respective roles. The script was witty and funny. A great Valentine's Day flick.

Isma Manitsa: You get that warm fuzzy feeling, watching this movie!

Renier Swanepoel: Meg Ryan -- Queen of the movies.

Rajendran Nair: Not bad

Claire Nicole: Not as good as The X-File movie.

Jacques Boshoff: Very good and entertaining movie!

Didi Ogude: Excellent!

Arauna Zeelie: Good, undemanding fun. A little bit too long for my liking - they could have rapped it up faster. Tom and Meg remain a good match. I found myself thinking of "Sleepless in Seattle" while watching the movie and comparing - compared okay.

Esti de Waal: Oh! Meg and Tom together are the greatest. Not bad. Happy ending!
