Nobody Will Speak of Us When We're Dead
In Madrid, the life of Gloria, the young attractive wife of a popular bullfighter, crumbles when he is
struck by a bull's horn, leaving him in a deep coma. She turns to drink and flees to Mexico to escape the misery of a life
in an apartment with her dying husband and mother in law. As an alcoholic she has to earn a living as a prostitute and,
unwittingly, gets mixed up with Mexican gangsters for which she gets deported. Her only option is to return to Madrid
to face her past. Unwittingly, the Mexicans dispatch a professional killer to take care of her. In her fight against misery
and death, Gloria finds only one ally: her mother in law who manages to help her find
dignity and hope.
