Set in a nameless British working class town, this story is about the attempts of a young man to salvage the community in which he lives, by resurrecting a boxing club. He hopes that the discipline and opportunity to channel their aggressive tendencies will raise the standards of living of the people in the area. Note: the film is in black and white.
