Blade is based on the Marvel comic book character, a half-bred vampire hero, whose personal mission is to destroy the vampire race and prevent the main bad boy from resurrecting some blood god. Basically a sort of (un)civil war between two clans of vampires. The film is probably aimed at teenage boys.
