No, you can't have a puppy!
A family drama seen through the eyes of a 10 year old girl. Set amongst black Americans in the early 1960s, the girl worries that her family will fall apart because she discovers her father having an affair. She decides that some voodo rituals are necessary to save the situation. The performances have been praised.
