Bruce Humphrey: Very good movie for the broad-minded. Paul Rudd is first class in the lead role. Lynette Anthony: Not too bad.... expected much more though. Reyaaz Hassan: Can be described as a mature romantic comedy/drama - the gay dilemna is handled in a clever manner - Nigel Hawthorne brings an intellectual sadness. I was never bored and was quite impressed with the fringe characters - especially the intro of Lewis. On a more trivial note - has anyone else noticed that the trailer song was not heard in the movie at all - not even in the credits - this happened in City of Angels as well - I suppose they're all part of the same industry and a popular song on a soundtrack will increase sales - no matter that the song doesn't make an actual movie appearance. Tim Sniffen: On the song's absence - strangely, it's not on the soundtrack either! Which is unfortunate, since I think it goes with the movie so well. I liked the film, and found it to be a fresh take on what is becoming the "straight woman - gay man" storyline.
