An unusual romantic comedy, which examines the question, ''what if?...'' What if you miss the train, what possible effect could that have on your whole life's direction? Our heroine does indeed miss the train, and her life follows one course. However, the film also gives us the other version, where she catches the train, leading to a whole different series of events. The two story lines play out intertwined with each other, and no, it is not confusing, but certainly crowd-pleasing.

Bruce Humphrey: A very good movie for drama/romance lovers. Shows you how people often two-time their lovers. The interwoven dual story is well done too. Of course I am biased - being a great fan of Gwyneth Paltrow but her supporting actors (John Hannah, John Lynch and Jean Tripplehorn) do a superb job too!
Barry Myburgh: The basic story of ''adultery'' turned into good entertainment by intertwining two stories into one. The way in which the two stories blend into one at the end could have been done more cleverly, though.
Isma Manitsa: I was confused as to whether it means that she'll die young even after she met and got together with the other guy???
Aruana Zeelie: I loved the concept of this movie: What if? A lot of people have said that they very confused, but I thought it was very clear and concise. Loved Johh Hannah (Four Weddings and a Funeral) in this movie. I've always found Gwyneth Paltrow's acting a bit ''iffy'', but after seeing her in ''Hard Eight'' I'm a Paltrow convert. I thought ''Hush'' was silly, but am looking forward to ''Shakespeare in Love''. Overall: a great viewing and interesting concept.
