Our hero has a big day ahead of him - not only is he being released from prison, but he is getting married too. His buddies, dressed in their wedding best, pick him up outside the prison to take him to his Life Sentence. So far so good. They make a pit stop at a bank, so one of them can pop in. What they didn't know was that he was popping in to rob the joint. Well, one thing leads to another, and they all end up involved in the robbery. Then the law, who happens to be the robber's dad, arrives, and then the bride, in full wedding regalia, also arrives... Throw in a gay Vietnam vet, and you have enough for a wacky comedy.
