A dopey hippie, more into 10-pin bowling than anything else, gets himself involved in delivering a ransom for a namesake. Things do not go smoothly, thanks to his jerky sidekick, and matters escalate, getting progressively more violent and confusing. The film has touches of brilliance and quirky humour.

Bruce Humphrey: Whacky humourous movie of a dopey hippie (as the write-up says) The main character is well played by Jeff Bridges with a good supporting staff. The movie gets better as it progresses and is almost 2 hours long.
