Lethal Weapon 4Um, what shall we say? More of the same? If you loved the first three, you will now doubt love the fourth installment too. In this mix of high action and occasional humour, our two heroes get to investigate a Chinese-smuggling (as in, smuggling Chinese people) ring, which leads them to some Chinese-currency counterfeiters. We also get to meet the newest martial arts import from China, who gives a stunning performance.Reviews have been mixed - I guess the Art Crowd will hate it and the Action Junkies will lap it up. 127 minutes, No persons under 13 (Language, Violence). Action, Comedy, Thriller. You can usually find additional (copyrighted) pictures, trailers, etc, on the Official Site. |

Nick Soper: Started off average, but when Jet Li started fighting. Oh...my...&^$@! Best Martial Arts scenes I have EVER seen. What a movie. Better that the previous 3 put together!
Lynette Anthony: Excellent, comedy, action, violence all in one movie with good performances. Check out Jet Li's moves!!!
Bruce Humphrey: A veritable tour de force that moves so rapidly that it can leave you breathless! I think it is the best ever Lethal Weapon movie. I loved the neurotic character played by Joe Pesci. He moaned about cell phones: "If you get a call or make a call, they cut you off! They ALWAYS f%*k you!!" The chase on the freeway is brilliant and almost as dangerous as our M1 in Jo'burg (they don't have the taxis to contend with as we do). There is LOTS of action and karate. The audience was quite content with the blood and guts but they visibly cringed in the dentist scene when the injection was brought out! Enormous fun!
Shaun Myburg: The big question is, can a movie have too much action? In the case of this film...NO! This non-stop action extravaganza is Hollywood at it's best. I am a big fan of the series, so this was an absolute pleasure to watch. Enjoyable performances by all involved and some great martial arts by the master Jet-Li. Perfect movie for adrennaline junkies, not exactly a date movie, but hey, miss out on this one and you are a fool!
David van Zyl: Very good, more comedy.
William Horne: I love the first 4 lethal weapon movies and I hope they come out with some more.
Richard Wienburg: Really enjoyed it as I do with all the other Lethal Weapon movies.
