A family movie along the lines of ''Lassie Come Home'', with a parrot instead of a dog. A little girl has a parrot, which she insists can speak normal English. Her parents do not believe her, and get rid of the parrot. We then follow the parrot as it tries to find its way back home.

Bruce Humphrey: A movie of pure delight! Bearded Russian Cleaner: ''It called me a mop-monkey!'' ''What bird-kind is this?'' ''The kind that bites - be careful!'' ''I've learned its dangerous to talk.'' Paulie: ''It's a long story..'' ''Russians like long stories - I've got lots of time'' ''OK Chekhov - here goes...'' A wonderful movie for kids (of all ages - and animal lovers too)!!! Go and see it!
