Nightwatch
A young man gets a job as a morgue's new nightwatchman. This meager-paying
job, which he took to help pay his way through law school, winds up putting
him in the wrong place at the
wrong time, and he finds himself having to prove to his girlfriend,
his best friend and an investigating officer that despite mounting evidence, he is not a serial killer.
Being set in a morgue, you know what sort of creepiness to expect...
100 minutes, No persons under 18 (Language). Thriller.

| Desmond Andriesse: What a poorly put together movie, with a dull story.
Bruce Humphrey: A movie full of suspense and murder. Our main character is a student who takes on a part-time job as the night watch of the morgue. I felt like an emotionally trapped guinea-pig as the movie makers used all the tricks (often successfully) to stretch our nerves to breaking point! Apart from a spooky, mostly unlit building there are shady (looney-looking) characters who work there. And then he has a friend who just loves playing pranks - no matter how far they go! He is left all alone at night and of course has to use "keys" at various strategic points to "clock" his rounds (like in the usually dark room full of sheet-draped bodies). Nick Nolte is OK as the detective. Not relaxing stuff but at least it has an ending that lets you sleep well at night! Only for an audience who like to test their nerves!!
Patsy Clarke: The retiring nightwatch who shows Ewan McGregor around the premises deserves a special best supporting actor award. He is a total hoot and sets a quirky tone for a pretty sound thriller.
Tania van Buren: Keeps you on the edge of your seat with your nails between your teeth even if you can tell from the beginning who the baddy is.
Marion Kopanski: Excellent! After reading reviews I had my doubts . But I was 'terrifiedly' surprised. Good stress-reliever, because everything afterwards seems a bit dull.
Sean Geddes: Pretty good.
