Anastasia
Based on the legend that Anastasia, one of the daughters of czar Nicholas II of Russia escaped the family
execution, this is a full-length animated family feature. The technical aspects - from animation to music -
have generally been praised, while the critics object to Fox taking liberties with history, and possibly
confusing the kiddies about what actually happened.
94 minutes, All ages. Family movie, Musical. You can usually find additional (copyrighted) pictures, trailers, etc, on the Official Site. |

| Laetitia Loubser: If you love animations, you'll love this one. Wonderful music and good story! Real fun for all. The girl has an obvious resemblance with the owner of her voice: Meg Rayn. That brings a certain "true to life" quality to the caracter.
E Pretorius: The BEST animated movie I have seen in my life. (And I've seen them all).
Tarryn Nicholson: I loved it!
Bruce Humphrey: Don Bluth & Co are really giving Disney some stiff competition! This movie has some stunning / some unusual and even some "experimental" effects that I mostly found quite enchanting. Recommended for kids of all ages!
John Cullen: Good family movie - Rasputin makes a horrid enough character to interest some of the older kids.
Stan Contat: If you're feeling down and need some cheering up, then this is the movie for you. You would have to be the world's greatest cynic not to be smiling when you walk out.
Petro Jansen van Vuuren: This is the best romantic kiddies comedy I ever saw!
