The Moviesite Fan Club comments
Bruce Humphrey: As one of our hyperventilating victims says: "Can you just G_E_T asthma or are you born with it?!" This creature makes the one from Alien quite tame in some ways! Grotesque, super-cunning and VERY fast "octopus" with sea-anemone-like mouths with teeth at the end of each tentacle. It attacks humans and eats us alive, sucks out all our bodily fluids and discardes the skeletal remains like an empty liquifruit container! Come and test how far you can push your feelings of nausea while your stomach is tied in a knot from the suspense. With a mixed race, sex, nationality and no morals, the characters in the story never leave you bored. The movie was better than I expected for a horror movie.

Saeed Subailey: I really liked this one. One of those movies during which you can switch your brain into low power mode and just watch and enjoy the movie. I especially liked the fact that I didn't have to explain everything to my girlfriend, needless to say she DID NOT like the movie.

Daniel Schotter: What a classical comedy if you ask me. The movie was brilliant in everyway possible. Excellent CG, acting was definitely up to par. And the ENDING has got to get a standing ovation.

Sean Pipes: Outstanding Graphics And Visual Effects.

André Mes: A giant calamari attacking a cruise ship? I think not! This film has merit in places, thanks to tongue-in-the-cheek performances by Treat Williams and the beautiful Famke Janssen, but all credibility is thrown out the window in the showdown! If the film succeeded in anything, it's putting me off seafood for a long time!
