Supposedly about Carlos the Jackal, the international terrorist. The American CIA and Israeli Mossad get together in an attempt to catch Carlos. They have an unusual plan - they have found an American who looks exactly like Carlos, and 'persuaded' him to help them. So he spends a few gruelling months getting suitably trained, before setting out on his mission to catch the Jackal.
