A re-release of Disney's popular animated film. A mermaid falls in love with a human, and longs to live above the waters. She strikes a deal with a sea witch to make her human. Based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, and a great family movie.

Rob Fisher: One of my all time favorite animated movies!
Bruce Humphrey: Rob, you are right! I missed this when it was first released years ago. Disney knows it is superb so they have not yet released the full version on video. I would put it up there together with Snow White and Lady and the Tramp (though I have a soft spot for the adult humour of voice genius Robin Williams as the genie in Aladdin). My rating also reflects the reaction of unbridled delight from the kids in the audience.
Joe Pearson: My 3-year-old had to cling onto my arm during the storm and some of the sea-witch's most evil bits. But transfixed throughout, as I was! Brilliant. Under the sea!!
