Set in the future, when some lucky people are created in test tubes, while the schmucks get conceived the normal way. Our hero is a natural person with high dreams - he wants to be an astronaut, but his genetic origins condemn him to a life of menial labour.
So he makes a plan - and assumes the identity of a cripple 'Valid'. Things go fine until our heroine discovers his secret, and then there is a murder... 106 minutes, Parental Guidance under 13. Thriller, Drama. You can usually find additional (copyrighted) pictures, trailers, etc, on the Official Site. |

| Neil Thompson: Pretty dull movie. Goes nowhere.
Hannelie Appelgryn: Plays havoc with your mind.......
Robin van den Heever: Brilliant Sci Fi Movie. Rang lots of warning bells.
Robert Haynes: Interesting, yet cerebral film noir. Not for the skop skiet & donder Starship Troopers crowd. This is a cautionary tale that relies heavily on the subtlety of the performances to carry it through. Hawke is good, for once, Thurman is good as always and Alan Arkin makes a surprising cameo. If you're looking for Independence Day 2 then miss it, if you're looking for a science fiction film of a more introspective nature then give this one a go... INTERESTING STUFF !!!
Bruce Humphrey: Sci-Fi/drama/suspense where genetic engineering counts for everything. The is a blood-hound "Columbo" detective on the prowl where the slightest trace of you or a blood test can give you away. Thought provoking.
