John Holmes: Good acting but too long.

Louise Parris: Excellent script and great performances from Mark Wahlberg and Burt Reynolds. Why Marky Mark was not nominated for an Oscar eludes me. Pity it didn't do well in this country. But when CLASSICS like Panic Mechanic make an absolute fortune on circuit you know there's no accounting for (ahem) TASTE !!!

Monica Gruetzmacher: I love Marky Mark he did a great job with the part! Nobody could have done it better!
