This film attempts to examine the difference between real and fake faith. A con artist who masqueraded as a faith healer before, comes across a genuine faith healer. He sends in our heroine, to find out if the powers are genuine. Naturally she and the healer find themselves immensely attracted to one another, somewhat upsetting the conman's plans. We also have a zealous religious leader who tries to exploit the faith healing for his own agenda.
