Another black-white buddy movie. A struggling journalist, in need of a good story, does a deal with a ticket scalper and arranges for him to get bust by the cops. However, en route to jail, there is a jail break, with some casualties, and the scalper gets blamed.
Desperate to clear his name, he makes another deal with the journalist to give him an exclusive story. Things go fine until they get chased and shot and the journalist is accused of murder just a few days before his wedding...
