Also known as Ghosts of Mississippi. A prominent black American civil rights leader is gunned down in his driveway. The known killer, a white man, is acquitted at his trial, in spite of the evidence against him. Thirty one years later, the case is reopened by the assistant D.A. This creates serious problems for him in his personal life, but he perserveres, eventually succeeding in seeing justice done.
