A Mediterranean comedy set in an Italian village. Our hero, a devoted husband, wants to fulfill his dying wife's wish of being burying her in the same cemetary as her dead child. However space in the cemetary is very limited, so the husband goes to extraordinary lengths to stop others in the town from dying, and stashing their bodies when they die anyway. This leads to the comical situations. In between, his sexy sister in law has an affair.
In spite of the title, the ending is not sad.
