Everyone Says I Love You

Woody Allen's first musical has received mixed reveiws - from 'so so' to 'brilliant'. There is not much of a plotline - the usual happy couples break up and get back together again, but there are some great dance routines and 'interesting' singing - most of the cast are not trained singers. At times, the film seems like a rip-off of the great Hollywood musicals, poking fun at their habit of bursting into song and dance at the strangest moments.
