A reasonably 'standard' horror flick. An explorer ships some items from South America to a museum in the States. Along the way, the whole ship's crew gets mysteriously killed. The museum has an exhibition of superstitious artifacts which results in more dead bodies. So the gallant hero from the FBI teams up with the bright young female researcher from the museum to solve the mystery.
