A doctor is so afraid of committing to his girlfriend, that he invents an imaginary lover to whom he is 'totally devoted'. When his real girlfriend announces her intention to leave her husband to be with the doctor, he is in a state of panic - until fate steps in. He accidently ends up with another woman's bag at the airport, and it provides enough 'proof' of his imaginary girlfriend to keep the real one at bay...
