A drug-addicted woman discovers she is pregnant - for the fifth time. A court decides that she should avoid problems and have an abortion. This of course causes the right-to-life crowd to protest and campaign against the abortion. This of course triggers action from the pro-choice lobby. The film examines how people interfere in each other's lives in the name of 'higher good'.
